I’m not sure if I like it better than Exiled Prince, because Exiled Prince really cemented my love for the Dark Parables series, but this game does live up to the high standards we’ve come to expect out of Blue Tea Games and it would be hard to imagine anybody not enjoying this fantastical adventure.

Since Blue Tea is based in Hong Kong, I couldn’t help but draw some parallels between some of the illustrations of the Snow King to a lot of the artwork featured in those classic Jademan (also based in Hong Kong) kung fu comics I devoured all through high school in the late 80′s. Same artists maybe? Drawing inspiration per chance? Either way the visuals were amazing.

Thank you for such a fun game…and now I can’t wait for the next Dark Parables! I wish I could speculate on what it might be, but some folks might not have played far enough into Rise of the Snow Queen to see the hint dropped just yet, and I wouldn’t want to spoil anything.
